This course is a practical hands-on course on how to Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The course covers how to recognise and respond to an emergency situation and resuscitate a casualty who is unconscious and not breathing.
Anyone requiring a Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate for the workplace, or that wishes to know more about how to resuscitate someone in an emergency.

Description
The First Aid course is designed for those who wish to or are required to develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide first aid response and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This training will benefit workplace first aid officers on worksites, site coordinators and anyone who requires first aid knowledge and skills in their workplace.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification; however it is recommended that students have sufficient literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete HLTAID003 Provide first aid
